Water, Fire 'n Mrs. Noah's Boat!

A Web walk each day with Peggie through a home called Peggie's Place! . . . .

"Water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink!" Heard that somewhere, perhaps it was Mrs. Noah I overheard, "aged" woman that I am - chuckle! Nevertheless, it's a fact that the God who made the majestic oceans also ordered the monstous flood.

Why? He was weary of the wickedness He saw on the earth and He destroyed the world He made. Promised never to do it again.....whew - we're safe.....or are we?

Believers are forever safe in the care of our Lord; the wicked will one day experience not a day at the ocean on the cruise ship of the year, but a fire of destruction meant for this old world and the evil inhabitants therein. They too will look for water to drink - there will be none.

God help this wicked generation and give us a burden to, like Noah - and Mrs. Noah - be a daily witness to the saving grace of a Heavenly Father, and now, in New Testament days, His Son, Jesus Christ, that salvation still available and free to all.....

.....and now back to the boat and Mrs. Noah, who, I'm sure, had alot to say on that boat!! Moms, you will enjoy a favorite devo at Peggie's Place: "All Aboard MRS. Noah's Ark!."

Have a great, God-fearing, Christ-honoring day.....and hey, I wonder if Mrs. Noah had a hidden hoard of CHOCOLATE on that boat - just a thought!!

Alphabet Soup

“While visiting my sister’s home recently, I walked past my young niece’s room before bedtime and observed her kneeling beside her bed, with her head bowed and hands folded, repeating the alphabet.

“What are you doing?” I asked.

“I’m saying my prayers,” she explained, a sweet smile across her face, ‘But I couldn’t think of just what I wanted to say. So I’m just saying all the letters of the alphabet, and God can put them together however He thinks best.’”

“Your worst days are never so bad that you are beyond the reach of God’s grace…
